I was born and raised in Munich, Germany. For my senior year, I moved to North Idaho as an exchange student and fell in love with the area. Everything from the mountains, lakes, and the friendly people reminded me of my home state, Bavaria.
After graduating high school, I attended the University of Idaho where I obtained two bachelor and two master degrees in geography and environmental science. For nearly a decade, I have worked in the environmental field, mapping oil & gas leases, conducting wetland delineations, assessing water quality for mining projects, regulating air emissions from agricultural burning, and forecasting landslide activity. Throughout my career thinking spatially, considering location, and reflecting on place, in a geographical sense, have laid the foundation for my career in real estate.
By now, I have called Idaho my home for half of my life and had the honor of becoming a United States citizen. My wife and I are raising four beautiful children in the area. We enjoy spending time with our horse, hiking and skiing in the Idaho mountains, camping, or kicking back on the lake.
My family has built, bought, and sold several homes in Kootenai County. I am familiar with the level of anxiety, excitement, and stress that can accompany these important decisions.
As your agent, I am focused on building the strongest relationships possible. I believe that honesty and kindness lay the foundation for a deep partnership.
